Carbamide Peroxide
Carbamide peroxide is commonly encountered in cosmetic dentistry, where it is used to "bleach" teeth. Carbamide peroxide, also called urea peroxide, is an oxidising agent, consisting of hydrogen peroxide compounded with urea. it is the primary active ingredient or bleaching agent in the professional teeth whitening gel and is not recommended for use in CHILDREN younger than 12 years of age except under the advice of a doctor.
